Projected Batting Leaders

The Projected Batting Leaders sub-screen displays the projected top players in various offensive categories.

This screen is almost identical to the Batting Leaders page, except that this screen gives the projected numbers for players over the course of a full season, so you can see that your stud first baseman is on a pace to hit 70 home runs, for example. Each player mentioned on the Projected Batting Leaders screen is linked to their Player Profile. The number of players displayed in each category can vary depending on your monitor resolution settings, which can be adjusted in the Interface section of the Preferences screen.

The Position Drop-Down lets you focus on players of a particular position. The Player Qualification Drop-Down defines which players are qualified to show up in leaders list, as follows:

OptionDescription
Qualified Players Displays players who meet certain criteria. To qualify, a hitter must have at least 3.1 plate appearances per game that his team has played. A pitcher must have at least 1 inning pitched per game that his team has played. The purpose of this option is to prevent skewed results. For example, in a list of all players, someone with a .500 average in just 2 at-bats could be listed at the top of the Batting Average leaderboard, ahead of a player who is hitting .330 in 400 at-bats.
Qualified Rookies Similar to Qualified Players, except that only rookies are displayed. Any player who had fewer than 130 at-bats or 25 innings pitched in his career before the start of the season is considered to be a "rookie".
All Players Displays all players, regardless of how much or how little each has played so far.
