The Game Database Info option (Game Menu >> Current Game section >> Database Info) displays data on the currently loaded game file. The statistical data on this screen has no real impact on the game, it is merely provided for informational purposes.

Note: You are also taken to this screen when you cancel out of the Create New Game process.
