Lines
The Lines screen allows you to determine your own line settings, or view another team's. On the left of the screen is the Dressed List, which displays the players chosen (via the dress/scratch right-click option on the roster screen) to play the next game. You can drag and drop players from this list to the lines display on the right.
You have nine different categories to select. Except as specified below, forward lines are listed in the format LW-C-RW, the defence pairs LD-RD.

- Shootout spots: These five players are the players the team will use in a shootout, in shooting order.
Note: during 3-on-3 situations, the AI will use the best available rested defensive pair and the best available rested forward. During 4-on-3 and 3-on-4, it will use the 4-on-4 and 3-on-5 line lists, respectively.
Action Menu
The Action Menu offers three options on this screen:
- Clear Lines erases all the current line selections, leaving the lines blank.
- Ask Assistant asks your computer assistant to set the lines using the current lineup.
- AI Setup Organization asks your computer assistant to reset your entire organization, which may involved players being called up or sent down, dressed, or scratched.
