Ballpark Editor
OOTP has a Ballpark Editor that allows you to create and configure ballparks.
The editor allows you to change the basics of a park (name, dimensions of the park), as well as the actual graphical representation of the park if you like to play out your games. You can access the ballpark editor in several ways:
Coordinates & ball locations will be described in the Pictures & Coordinates and Ball Locations pages.
The editor allows you to change the basics of a park (name, dimensions of the park), as well as the actual graphical representation of the park if you like to play out your games. You can access the ballpark editor in several ways:
- On the League Functions page, select Edit Park from the Functions action menu
- On the League Functions page, select Edit Ballparks from the scrollable list
- When in Commissioner Mode, select Edit Ballpark from within the Team Editor page.

All four pages of the ballpark editor also include an Action menu at the bottom with the following options:Option | Description |
Add new park | Creates a brand new park for you to edit |
Assign coordinates & ball locations to all parks | Automatically assigns the coordinates and ball locations of the currently selected park to ALL ballparks in the league. |
Reset coordinates & ball locations | Resets the coordinates & ball locations for this park to the defaults |
Assign neutral park factors to all parks | Sets all parks to have matching, neutral park factors |
Randomize park factors of this park | Creates a random set of park factors for this park |
Export this park's data to file | Exports data related this park into a file stored in the import_export directory. Exported files have a .prk extension, and are data files that are not readily readable. You can export a park to use the same park's information in another league, or you could share individual park files with others. Parks are imported and exported on a park-by-park basis. There is no way to export or import all parks in a league, for example. |
Import data from file into this park | Opens a file browser to allow you to import park data from a previously exported .prk file. |
