Getting Started
OOTP offers both solo and online play. For the purpose of teaching you more about the game, however, we're going to assume that you're starting out with a solo game.
The OOTP installation places a shortcut to the game either on your desktop, or in the Games Explorer in Windows 7 and Vista. You can launch OOTP by double-clicking on the icon:
By default, an icon is also placed in the Start menu on Windows XP machines, under Start | Programs | Out of the Park Developments | OOTP Baseball. On the Mac and Linux OSes, an icon is placed in your Applications folder, under Out of the Park Developments | OOTP Baseball.
