Disabled Lists
OOTP has two disabled lists that teams can use to help manage their rosters when players on the active or secondary rosters suffer injuries: the 15-day disabled list and the 60-day disabled list. Disabled lists are primarily for effective management of the active and secondary rosters, but they can be used even in leagues without affiliated minor leagues.
The disabled lists are visible on the Disabled List subpage of the Transaction page.
15-Day Disabled List
Players placed on the 15-day disabled list remain on the team's secondary roster.60-Day Disabled List
Players placed on the 60-day disabled list are removed from the team's secondary roster, opening up a slot for a replacement player. The disabled lists are visible on the Disabled List subpage of the Transaction page.
Assigning Players to the Disabled List
There are two ways to place a player on the disabled list:- On the Disabled List subpage of the Transaction page, drag a player from the active or secondary roster to the disabled list.
- Right-click any injured player and select Transaction | Place on Disabled List.
Differences between OOTP and Real World
There are several differences between disabled lists in OOTP and disabled lists in the real world:- In OOTP, you cannot make retroactive assignments to the disabled list.
- In the real world, disabled list assignments end at the end of the season. In OOTP, a player can remain on the disabled list past the end of the season.
