Logo Basics
There are some more advanced, tricky things you can do with logos in OOTP, but before we tackle those, let's cover some of the fundamentals of logos in OOTP:
Note: This will not copy the logos to any previously existing saved games. To get a new logo into an existing save game, you must copy the files manually into the datasaved_games[your saved game].lgnews/html/images directory for each individual saved game.
Team and League Logo File Location
By default, team and league logos belong to your individual saved games, and are stored in the datasaved_games[your saved game].lgnews/html/images directory inside your OOTP installation. This directory also contains a number of other graphics that are used in OOTP, but here we'll just be talking about team and league logos.Using Logos Globally
Although logos belong to individual saved games, you can also create logos that will be automatically used in any new saved game. To have a logo used "globally," simply copy it to the datalogos directory in your OOTP installation directory. Any subsequent time you create a new saved game, OOTP will check the datalogos directory for any matching logo names, and automatically copy them to the datasaved_games[your saved game].lgnews/html/images directory for your new saved game.Note: This will not copy the logos to any previously existing saved games. To get a new logo into an existing save game, you must copy the files manually into the datasaved_games[your saved game].lgnews/html/images directory for each individual saved game.
