The Staff Roles screen lists all personnel on the currently selected team, along with the overall staff cohesion, and their personality ratings.
Some coaches will work better together than others, and will need to hire coaches that work well together to get most of your staff. The cohesion level indicates how well the current group of staff work together.
All of the coaches except the team doctor and team scout now have personality values. Each of them has one specific personality type that they tend to interact well with, as well as another which they struggle with. If a specific coach interacts well with more other members of the coaching staff than they interact negatively with, the coaching staff as a whole will function better. This will impact all pieces of the coaching process, as well as player morale.
Note that coach interactions are two-way, in that your Manager may have a positive relationship with your pitching coach, but your pitching coach may have a negative interaction with your manager. Ensuring that the coaching staff as a whole has a positive cohesion will help. A strongly negative cohesion will not necessarily doom you, but it will not help. The overall cohesion accumulates through time, so a coaching change will not immediately be reflected. Also do note that like with the similar process of team chemistry, team success will also have an impact. A largely successful club may be able to better deal with coaches who have negative reactions to each other than a club which is struggling.
Additionally, coaches can be given individual teaching roles, specializing in improving the fielding skills for each of Catchers, Infielders, and Outfielders, as well as running skills.
