The Manager Menu has various tools and options related to your job as a General Manager:
Home takes you to the Manager Home Screen.
Home takes you to your mailbox.
The Options page is used to set administrative preferences for your human general manager identity. Familiarizing yourself with these settings well help you make the game match your style of play.
Available Jobs lists all open general manager jobs in playable leagues. Right-click on one to apply for it. If you are using commissioner mode, all jobs are considered to be open (choosing a team that currently has a general manager will result in him being fired when you're hired.)
Owner Confidence gives you an idea of where you stand with your owner at the moment. His objective for the season will be listed, and your current level of job security is shown. The farther the bar gets to the left, the closer you are to being fired.
If you are employed, Resign from Team gives you the option to immediately quit your current job.
Retire will immediately retire your current General Manager, and allow you to create a new one that you can continue the game with.
