Projected Pitching Leaders

The Projected Pitching Leaders sub-screen displays the projected top players in various pitching categories:

This screen is almost identical to the Pitching Leaders screen, except that this screen gives the projected numbers for players over the course of a full season, so that you can see that your ace pitcher is on a pace for 300 strikeouts, for example. Each player mentioned on the Projected Pitching Leaders screen is linked to their Player Profile. The number of players displayed in each category can vary depending on your monitor resolution settings, which can be adjusted in the Interface section of the Preferences screen.

The Player Qualification Drop-Down defines which players are qualified to show up in leaders list, as follows:

OptionDescription
Qualified Starting Pitchers Displays only qualified players whose role is "starting pitcher". To qualify, a pitcher must have at least 1 inning pitched per game that his team has played. The purpose of this option is to prevent skewed results. For example, in a list of all players, a pitcher with 1 IP and a 0.00 ERA could be listed at the top of the ERA leaderboard.
Qualified Relievers Displays only qualified players whose role is "middle reliever" or "closer". To qualify, a pitcher must have at least 1 inning pitched per game that his team has played. The purpose of this option is to prevent skewed results. For example, in a list of all players, a pitcher with 1 IP and a 0.00 ERA could be listed at the top of the ERA leaderboard.
Qualified Rookies Similar to Qualified Players, except that only rookies are displayed. Any player who had fewer than 130 at-bats or 25 innings pitched in his career before the start of the season is considered to be a "rookie".
All Pitchers Displays all pitchers, regardless of how much or how little each has played so far.
