At times, you won't want your players to stick to their standard tactics. The Gameplan screen allows you to identify situations where you want your whole team to abandon their standard approaches in favour of something else.
There are four timeframes and five scoreboard situations to select from, creating a matrix of 20 possible situations. In each of these, you can select a specific tactic for all of your lines to use. Simply choose the tactical template via the dropdown, the same way you would on the tactics screen. This will force all your lines to use that particular template when in that game situation.
Generally, you should probably use your standard tactics for most of the game. But if you always want to play a particular style in some situations, you can make that choice here.
