League Functions
OOTP has many league functions, which are a series of tools to help you adjust your game. Most of these tools work on a per-league basis. That is, they only affect the currently selected league, and not your entire game file at once. The league functions are in the Functions page:
Most of the functions accessible through this page affect only one league. To change which league you wish to affect, click a league in the Select League box on the left side of the page. The functions are divided into the following categories, which we will describe on separate pages:
Accessing the Functions Page
The Functions page can be accessed in three different ways:- By clicking on the Tools icon (
)in the League section of the Icon Bar at the bottom of the page - By navigating to OOTP Menu | Game Setup | League Setup tab | Functions tab
- By clicking the Game Setup link in the Other Options section on the Manager Home page or the Commissioner Portal.
Using the Functions Page
The Functions page consists of a scrollable list of functions and their descriptions. Many league functions are only available at specific times during a season, and those that are not currently available are grayed out. Most of these functions are also available in action menus at the bottom of the screen. The functions are the same - they're provided in two ways to suit different preferences for how to access the functions.Most of the functions accessible through this page affect only one league. - General Functions (also available in the Functions action menu on the Functions page)
- Editors (also available in the Functions action menu on the Functions page)
- Fictional Picture Functions (also available in the Player/Coach Pictures action menu on the Functions page)
- Roster Functions (also available in the Functions action menu on the Functions page)
- Financial Functions (also available in the Functions action menu on the Functions page)
- Import/Export Functions (also available in the Import/Export action menu on the Functions page)
- Other Functions (also available in the Functions action menu on the Functions page)
