Options and Ballpark
The Options and Ballpark subpage is where GMs can look up and, in some cases, edit information relevant to their specific team:

You can access this page in several ways:

  • Navigate to Team Menu >> BNN Home Page >> Options and Ballpark subpage
  • Navigate to Team Menu >> Team Options and Ballpark
  • Click on the house icon in the Team section of the Icon Bar, then click on the Options and Ballpark subpage

The left side of the page has team editor functionality, and the right has ballpark information.

Team Editor
The left side of the page gives you the ability to edit some information about the team that you manage. The options are limited unless you are a commissioner. Those options are explained in detail on the Team Editor page. Non-commissioners have the following options:

OptionDescription
City / NameAllows you to edit the city name of the selected team
AbbreviationAllows you to edit the abbreviation of the selected team
NicknameAllows you to edit the nickname of the selected team
Historical Team IDThe unique team identifier used in the historical league data files. Only used in historical leagues. This number is not generated or maintained by OOTP; it is controlled by the historical database you use.
Historical Franchise IDThe unique franchise identifier used in the historical league data files. Only used in historical leagues. This number is not generated or maintained by OOTP; it is controlled by the historical database you use.
NationAllows you to change the nation for the selected team. This has no effect on the league's nation setting, but this enables you to create teams that are not located in the league nation; for example, placing a team located in Toronto, Canada, in a U.S.-based league.
City Search / Select Exact CityAllows you to search for a specific city in the world database. To search for a city, type a city name in the text box, and then press Enter. All cities with matching names will appear in the Search Exact City drop-down. For example, if you type Springfield, all cities with the name Springfield will be available in the drop-down. Select the desired city from the drop-down. The cities available in the drop-down are based on the team's nation listed above. The search looks for any cities that include the letters you entered.
Edit team colors, logos, and uniformsThis button opens up the Team Colors, Logos, and Uniforms page, in which you can edit your team's colors, logos, and the textures of your ballcaps and jerseys.

Warning! After making changes to any field in the Team Editor, you must hit the Enter key on your keyboard in order for the change to take effect!

Ballpark Info
The right side of the screen provides detailed information about your team's home ballpark.

Non-commissioners can only change the name of their stadium. Commissioners can choose a different ballpark entirely, or open the Ballpark Editor. That page also has more detailed information about the ballpark factors.
